NEW~Zachary Helps to Mow the Lawn for the 1st Time!!

Zachary is the star of this post! Dad was mowing our lawn and Zach asked if he could help him. Daddy told him he could and Zach stuck with it for the whole rest of the lawn--which included all of our pretty big backyard!

Zachary noticed me taking the pictures and turned back to smile--good thing Dad was the one really controlling the mower!

He is working on turning his "marshmallow muscles" into something worthwhile!

About half-way through mowing the back lawn, they were called in for dinner. At the table Zachary mentioned that "the girls make dinner while us guys do the work"! You think if we were to make him make dinner for us several days in a row maybe he would change his mind?! By the way, he did go back out as soon as he had finished his dinner and was standing at the door waiting for Dad to join him so they could get back at it again.

It's Me...but who are you?

I guess I've given you long enough to try and guess who writes the majority of these posts! I am Heidi, for those of you who haven't figured it out yet! Many of you, though, can tell pretty well when it is me and when it isn't me! I am often the one who ends up doing it for multiple reasons... ~I can't stand it when others don't update theirs blogs very often and that helps me to remember that I should update ours as well. ~I am often the one who sees the potential for something that might be "blog worthy" and goes and gets the pictures and/or other information. ~The last reason--well, if nobody else is going to do it, I guess I will!

We know that there are people who look at our blog from the comments that you make sometimes when we see you, however, just about nobody ever makes a comment on our blog--and it is not because we don't allow it! I understand that some of you cannot make comments since our blog does not allow anonymous comments and you do not all have google accounts...but many of you do! So, I ask this, you don't have to comment all the time, though it is encouraging to get comments every now and then, but if all those who are able would please comment on this post and include at least part of your name (first or last or common nickname or something) so that we can get a basic idea of how many and who is viewing our blog. Thank you!

News on previous house!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!

On Wednesday, the 28th, somebody made an offer on the house!

Please continue to pray that God's will would be done in His way, at His time, and with His person at our old house and that we would be patient and content with whatever it may be.

Update on Old House

Dad, Joe, and three young men from church who live just down the street from the old house worked on the roof today. From what I have gathered, they all got a lot done and did a wonderful job! There is just a little bit left to do tomorrow! Please continue to pray for good weather while they finish this project.

It is wonderful having Joe around~especially when it's time for the big projects!

(It's good to have him around when there aren't big projects too~just to clarify.)

It looks as though they made a pretty good mess!

At least they clean up their messes-but, of course, we don't have any pictures of that! This picture has both the new carpet and the new paint in it. The lighting isn't the best, but it's not too bad. At least it gets the idea across.

The roof is the last of the projects we need to do on/at that house!

Current Events

Joe Is Home!

The plan was to go and get him around 10 or so this morning. However, when Mom was doing her hair this morning, getting ready to leave to go get him, she looked up to see him in the standing there in the doorway! SURPRISE!! He had come home with our youth pastor and his family (who were up there last night) and arrived at the house around 3 o'clock this morning. He had a key and managed to get in (with all of his stuff) without anybody noticing (good thing we don't expect Noelle to be a watchdog, because she failed and would have been fired-I guess she is a true Mueller--sleeps through any and every thing). Everybody was delighted as they woke up at there different times and each discovered the wonderful news! Unfortunately, he won't be able to be around for very long, though we don't know when the end of the all to short time to have him home will be. Please pray for God's clear direction for what to do this summer-it is, as of yet, undecided.

Working On The Old House

As our commitment with our realtor is up and thus the house is not currently on the market, we have been doing a bit of work on it to try to give it a little more appeal. For those of you who know what our house looks like, I'll give an idea of what has been changed. All of the green in the Living Room, Dining Room, Stairway, and Upstairs Hallway has been changed to a basic beige or khaki type of color. We are currently replacing all of the carpeting on all the stairs and in the Music Room (which hasn't been changed since we moved in 20 years ago, but actually wasn't all that bad because it has almost always been quite well covered-whether bed a double bed, dresser, and such, or by the piano, desk, and harp). As soon as it works out, we plan to put new shingles on the roof-please pray for good weather and for safety.

Good Times This Past Weekend

Saturday was the wedding of a wonderful lady at our church and many people came in from all over to be there. Some good friends who moved from here out to South Carolina last year came back for the wedding and stayed at our house Thursday night through Saturday morning. Jared, Becca, and Willie stayed here Friday night through Saturday night. It was wonderful to see everybody again! Jared's parents, another family from their church, and another family from our church (as well as all those who stayed at our house) got together for a very enjoyable time of food, fun, and fellowship on Friday evening!

I'm sorry that I don't have any pictures of these things up on this post, but I figure I can add them later and at least get the news up for now, even though it does seem kind of incomplete. I suppose it is fine---at least for now.
