Jared & Becca's 6th wedding anniversary was the 3rd.

Here are a few pictures so you can reminisce with me about that bittersweet day upon which Jared & Becca were wed... (Well, it was bittersweet for us as we felt like we were loosing a sister.  I think it was all sweet for them.  A favorite line of each of our sisters during the time of their engagement was, "You're not losing a sister!  You're gaining a brother!"  Yeah.  Somehow people on cloud nine can only see the bright side.  Really, we do rejoice with them....We just miss them a lot too.) ...and view a few more pictures since then.  :-)

 My niece, Savannah, turned 2 on the 9th!  It's amazing how quickly time flies!

Mom's birthday was the 19th!  She now has one more year of experience than she did on her birthday last year.  ;-)  (She really did experience a lot this past year in particular, come to think of it!)

The camera is out of town, so I don't have any good pictures of the celebration or anything, but here are a few phone camera pictures of Dad's gift to Mom - Getting their room painted, border put up, chair-rail installed, furniture re-arranged.  It's a gentle green color on top, with a lavender/light purple color on the bottom.

It's still in progress - things sitting around, nothing up on the walls yet - so please be forgiving.

 

Some of Mom's delights are her husband of over 34 years, as well as her 7 daughters, 3 sons, 1 daughter-in-law, 3 sons-in-law, 2 granddaughters, and 3 grandsons...with plenty of likelihood for most of those categories to continue to grow as time continues to fly by!

February 25th marked one year since Brian & Julie got engaged!

You know, it's pretty amazing how different things can be just one year later!  As of February 25th (after Brian's proposal, that is, so later in the day) last year, I had 1 sibling married, 3 siblings engaged, 2 nephews, and 1 niece.  Now, I have 4 siblings married, 3 nephews, and 2 nieces!

(Remarkably, I have actually met a couple other families with similar stories...but I would certainly not call it "common" to have three siblings married in just over 5 months!)
